Programs Director

PROGRAMS DIRECTOR

ADRA Vanuatu is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified Ni Vanuatu to the position of Programs Director.

The Programs Director wil work as part of the ADRA Vanuatu team and reports to the Country Director. They are responsible for planning new projects, monitoring and evaluation and donor reporting. They will provide backstopping support and ensure that ADRA Vanuatu’s projects are implmented according to project proposals and donor requirments.

At minimum the successful applicant should have:

• Tertiary qualification in Community Development, Management or another related field.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in design, delivery, monitoring and evaluation of development programs.
• Possess experience of empowering leadership qualities and a clear commitment to providing supportive supervision and coaching/mentoring of all personnel.
• Possess strong analytical, proposal and report writing skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and to deadlines.
• Possess a strong vision for the program goals.
• Computer Fluency (MS Office).
• Christian faith commitment.
• Ability to comprehensively communicate in English – oral and written.

This position reports to the ADRA Vanuatu Country Director and will be located at the ADRA Vanuatu office in Port Vila.  Remuneration and benefits will be according to the ADRA Vanuatu Wage Scale.
