Subject: Invitation to attend International Day for Disaster Reduction Meeting

The National Disaster Management Office (NDMO) and other interested agencies will be organizing the International Disaster Reduction Day on 13^th October 2012.  We are therefore inviting you to attend a meeting for organizing this one day event to be held on the 14^th /08/ 2012, at the NDMO operation room.  

The purpose of the meeting is:

• To discuss the International Disaster Day
• To set up a working committee for IDD
• Share ideas and inputs that will highlight the THEME “Woman and GIRLS are  powerful agent of Change”
• To develop an action plan for the Working Committee.

The meeting is scheduled for 10.00am- 2:00pm
