The Department of Energy, a division of the Ministry for Climate Change Adaption, Meteorology, Geo-Hazards, Environment, Energy and Disaster Management is formally advertising for the tendering of the Tanna and Malekula Electricity Concession. 

The Tanna and Malekula Electricity Concession will provide for the supply of electricity services on the islands of Tanna and Malekula, Vanuatu.  The Concession locations will include;

This Short-Term vacancy information is for anyone who have the experience from similar roles in the past and is available to start in April 2020.

The position is an Administrative position that will support the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) to implement the current GCF Readiness Project (VUT-RS-004 - Mobilizing the Vanuatu Private Sector Towards Climate Action) delivered in partnership with the Vanuatu Chamber of Commerce and Industry(VCCI) and the Vanuatu Business Resilience Council (VBRC).

 SPREP is seeking to recruit a Project Officer (Service-Based Consultancy) for the Pacific Adaptation to Climate Change and Resilience Building (PACRES) - Vanuatu Component to work on a consultancy basis for a period of 30 months to oversee the implementation, administration and completion of the Vanuatu component of the project.

The Terms of Reference (TOR) and the specific statement of work for the consultancy are set out in the attachment.
