Invitation to review: Pacific Gender and Climate Change Toolkit (deadline - Nov 25)
Dear PAFPNet members,
We would like to invite you to review the Pacific Gender and Climate Change Toolkit which was launched as a draft at the recent Triennial Conference of Pacific Women in the Cook Islands.
We would very much welcome your contributions to strengthening the toolkit, in particular helping to shorten the document and contribute further case studies! The toolkit targets climate change practitioners and has been developed by a number of organisations (SPC, SPREP, UNDP, UN Women, GIZ) through a collaborative and consultative process.
The Pacific Gender and Climate Change Toolkit can be found online athttp://www.pacificclimatechange.net/index.php/eresources/documents?task=showCategory&catid=137and a food security module is available at http://www.pacificclimatechange.net/index.php/eresources/documents?task=view&id=916&catid=137
We would be very grateful if you could provide your review comments using the attached from and/or surveymonkey below by November 25th. There is also some background about the structure of the toolkit in the document attached.
Following the finalisation of the toolkit a training course based on the tools will be developed and rolled out next year.
Many thanks and please don’t hesitate to contact me if you would like further details,
Note: This toolkit is one of two that were launched at the Triennial. This toolkit targets climate change practitioners involved in designing, managing and implementing climate change projects and programme. A further toolkit targets those working at the community level a draft of which can be found at http://www.pacificclimatechange.net/index.php/eresources/documents?task=showCategory&catid=140
