The Department of Climate Change (DoCC) under the Ministry of Climate Change and Natural Disasters intends to undertake its third annual event at the provincial level to provide awareness program and activities to our communities, schools, and their people with issues around the impacts of climate change.
This is to ensure the National government through the Department of Climate change and its stakeholders provide the right information and key messages for people to make right and informed decisions through adaptation and mitigation actions in future.
The National CCDRR & Policy Awareness with Non-Government Stakeholders Awareness Workshop to be held on the 1st of September 2022, Thursday at the Melanesian Hotel.

Given the importance of accessing information from the NAB portal with relevance to the productive sector, a workshop will be held on 21st July 2022 by the National Advisory Board on Climate Change & Disaster Risk Resilience (NAB) at the Grand Hotel.

Strengthening climate change awareness in Vanuatu
The Media Training is implemented by the Ministry of Climate Change with support from the British High Commissioner in Vanuatu.

This Media Training is coordinated by the NAB Secretariat.
The Ministry of Climate Change will be hosting a validation workshop for the National Climate Change and Disaster Risk Reduction Policy Implementation Plan on 7 July 2021 at the Melanesian Hotel in Port Vila.
The Pacific Community (SPC) and the Department of Water Resource will be hosting an Inception Workshop for the preparation of Vanuatu’s Green Climate Fund Project Proposal on Water Security on Wednesday the 30th June 2021 at the Vanuatu Cultural Centre in Port Vila.
The GEF 7 full project proposal "Enhancing water-food security and climate resilience in volcanic island countries of the Pacific" and the planned National Design Workshop for Vanuatu will be held at the Vanuatu Cultural Center on Tuesday the 29th June 2021.
The will a National Validation Workshop for the CCDRR Implementation Plan on this date in Port Vila.

There will be a GCF Capacity Building Training for all NAB Members and their Senior Officers.
Workshop Objectives: As part of this project, GGGI in collaboration with the MoCC and National Advisory Board on Climate Change and Disaster Risk Reduction (NAB) are delivering the sixth in a series of capacity building trainings for the Government of Vanuatu related to accreditation to the GCF.

As climate activists, ever felt that your faith has come under attack? Can you be a climate activist AND a christian? What does the bible say about climate change? How can I use my faith as a tool to help my community be better prepared?
The purpose of this workshop is to work with relevant stakeholders to identify labour market needs, future workforce trends and skills gaps that provides an important basis from which training and development plans can be developed, to target priority sectors. Recognising the importance of aligning its training programs to labour market needs, the Australia Pacific Training Coalition (APTC) is currently conducting a Pacific-wide Labour Market Assessment (PLMA) to collate relevant existing and new data to formulate a national skills profile by occupation, qualification and outcome.

This mail serves as a formal invitation to you or a representative of your organisation to attend a 1-day workshop on the impacts of multiple hazards (e.g. cyclones, volcanic eruptions) on island communities in Vanuatu. This will be held in the Vanuatu Christian Council offices, Port Vila, on Thursday 22ndAugust.
This workshop is conducted by the Anglican Church of Melanesia, the Vanuatu Christian Council and the University of Southampton, UK.
Purpose: The workshop will provide SMEs with a comprehensive introduction to business resilience, including disaster risk assessment, and planning to prepare for, respond to, and recover from a disaster – business continuity planning. After the training, SMEs should be able to do a basic risk assessment and develop basic preparation, response and recovery plans.
