Designed for groups of up to 25 participants, sessions can last from 1-5 days, and include:
- Question-led, photo-based theory sessions
- Field trips to bring the theory to life
- Demonstrations of equipment and mapping
- Group work to encourage full participation and networking
- Group presentations

Strengthening climate change awareness in Vanuatu
The Media Training is implemented by the Ministry of Climate Change with support from the British High Commissioner in Vanuatu.
A one day workshop to enhancing climate change awareness and COP26 preparations in Vanuatu through building the capacity of media and communications professionals
This Media Training is coordinated by the NAB Secretariat.
There will be a GCF Capacity Building Training for all NAB Members and their Senior Officers.
Workshop Objectives: As part of this project, GGGI in collaboration with the MoCC and National Advisory Board on Climate Change and Disaster Risk Reduction (NAB) are delivering the sixth in a series of capacity building trainings for the Government of Vanuatu related to accreditation to the GCF.
The Ministry of Climate Change in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), PaO, Fiji is pleased to invite you to the above subject workshop. The training will be held at the Vanuatu Meteorology Conference Room on 27 & 28 August 2019.
The Training and hand-holding workshop will cover;
Development of GHG inventories;
Mitigation assessment; and
Vulnerability assessment & adaptation.

The Food Security & Agriculture Cluster has been refining its Rapid Technical Assessment methodology using strategic questions as well as cutting edge technology like mobile phone and tablet apps. The Food Security & Agriculture Cluster was proactive and well-organized during the NDMO response to Tropical Cyclone Donna. Despite the political interference that caused many of FSAC recommendations to be overturned at the highest levels, mush was achieved and lessons learned. To capture this, the Ministry of Agriculture will be holding a cyclone Simulation/Lessons Learned activity with all cluster members from Government, civil society, the private sector ad development partners from 10-11 July 2017.
The training aims
USP PACE-SD’s EU GCCA Project will be conducting a Regional Learning Event in Port Vila on how to carry out a Community Integrated Vulnerability Assessment (CIVA) which includes learning the use of a community-friendly (GIS) Risk Mapping Tool. The participants will include In-Country coordinators of the EU GCCA project from the 15 Pacific ACP countries and we have also invited representatives from national government and non-governmental agencies in Vanuatu as well as 2 participants from each of the 4 communities we plan to conduct CIVAs in including:
