The Department of Climate Change (DoCC) under the Ministry of Climate Change and Natural Disasters intends to undertake its third annual event at the provincial level to   provide awareness program and activities to our communities, schools, and their people with issues around the impacts of climate change.

This is to ensure the National government through the Department of Climate change and its stakeholders provide the right information and key messages for people to make right and informed decisions through adaptation and mitigation actions in future.

 The Awareness Workshop for National CCDRR & Policy Awareness with Stakeholder to held on the 30th & 31st of August 2022,

Given the importance of accessing information from the NAB portal with relevance to the productive sector, a workshop will  be held on 21st July 2022 by the National Advisory Board on Climate Change & Disaster Risk Resilience (NAB) at the Grand Hotel.

Given the importance of accessing information from the NAB portal with relevance to the productive sector, invitaions are being sent to officers namely Communications & Media, IT, Data and Software Applications officers to be part of this one day workshop.

The  National Climate Outlook Forum Traditional Knowledge and Vanuatu Rainfall & Network

Background

 NAB Secretariat is having an Outreach and awareness program with all the NAB members,  about the NAB services in the Ministry of Cimate Change.

World Vision Vanuatu is pleased to announce the launch of our four year "It Takes a World to End Violence Against Children" program, which is part of World Vision International's campaign to End Violence Against Children. 

Our launching event will raise awareness around consent in relationships between young men and women in Vanuatu. We have a vision for young men and women, coming to learn about the importance of consent in healthy relationships and feeling empowered to take a stand aginst sexual violence to help create a safe Vanuatu.

The Ministry of Climate Change has been working hard the past few months to prepare for this year's climate talks. Now, with less than a month to go until the negotiations begin in Bonn, MOCC is inviting the public to attend a special COP23 Forum.
