Sustainable livelihoods have a high priority for Pacific Island communities and governments alike. The objectives will be achieved by supporting the efforts of PACPs governments and empowering communities to increase their self-reliance and their ability to cope with the effects of climate change. Pacific countries involved are Cook Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Fiji, Kiribati, Republic of Marshall Islands, Nauru, Niue, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Timor- Leste, Tonga, Tuvalu and Vanuatu.
