040714 U.S. Embassy MR " United States Supports Local Climate Change Efforts"

The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) is offering grants to civil society organizations throughout the Pacific, including Vanuatu to implement climate change adaptation projects.  The grants program is called the Pacific-American Climate Fund and grant applications are available at www.pgrd.org.

Please find attached media release on the Pacific- American Climate Fund’s offer of $24 million dollars in grants for over five years to 12 countries that are home to 8.5 million people.
