Children and Climate Change Module is in French and Spanish!

After the launch of English version two months ago, the Specialized e-Learning Module on Children and Climate Change, developed by UN CC:Learn and UNICEF, is now available in French and Spanish! This specialized module aims to raise awareness and knowledge about the impact of climate change on children, discuss opportunities for action and provide a child’s perspective on how to deal with this global crisis.

The module is free and self-paced, and takes around two hours to complete. Every participant passing the short quiz at the end will receive a certificate from UNICEF and UNITAR.

The module includes the following five sections:

  1. The Impact of Climate Change on Children
  2. Strengthening Children’s Resilience to Climate Change
  3. The Benefits of Climate Change Mitigation for Children
  4. Empowering Children to Act on Climate Change through Education
  5. A Climate Change Agenda for Children
